Your final exam for this course is to write a history-based research paper related to our overall focus on immigrants and minorities for the semester. You can choose one of the topics that I propose or you can choose your own topic, as long as it relates to immigrants and/or minorities. Within the topic that you choose, you will need to research and narrow your focus to one key aspect, event, element, etc. Below you will find the topics I am proposing, the requirements for your research paper, a short guide for how to write a research paper, and the grading rubric. NOTE: the due date for this paper is at the end of Week 15, not our final week. This is to give me the time to grade your papers before the final grades due date.
