Unit 7 Assignment: The Organ Systems of the Human Body

Overview:

The key structures of our organ systems act independently and interdependently to create a functioning organism, i.e., you! Understanding what those organs are, what they do, and how they work together is one of the most important aspects of biology.

Instructions:

You will be creating this assignment in Padlet.

•Go to:https://padlet.com/

o Click “Sign up for free” if you do not already have an account.

o Sign up and then log in.

o Once in your account, click “Make a Padlet”.

o Then select “Canvas” template.

o Create a post-it for each of the following systems:

Digestive

Circulatory

Respiratory

Endocrine

Musculoskeletal

Nervous

Immune

Reproductive

o On each post-it, including an image of the system from the internet, making sure to cite the source of that image.

o On each post-it with the image, include three of the most important features of that organ system, one of which includes a description of that system interacts with one other system.

o When you are finished with your work, click “Share” and copy the link to your clipboard.

o Paste the link in the text box in the assignment area in Blackboard.

o Include one post-it for your references in APA format.
